Working from a Place of Rest is written with those involved in full-time ministry in mind, whether at home or in a cross-cultural context. It looks at the story of Jesus and the Samaritan villagers in John 4, and uses his example as a pattern for sustaining ministry in the frantic world of the twenty first century.
Tony Horsfall is a graduate of London School of Theology, worked with OMF in East Malaysia for a number of years, before leading a church in West Yorkshire. He then headed up the EQUIP training programme at Bawtry Hall (Doncaster), and now works as a freelance trainer for his own ministry, Charis Training. He regularly leads retreats for mission personnel and church leaders, and serves as Pastoral Carer for MAF International (Africa Region).
